so of course he got into the fight with some thughs who made some jokes about ‘his mama’ and ‘forest fruits’
(some weird italian guy who revealed himself to be of name eztio-ooh helped him and although they both have got beaten badly, they survived somehow and after eztio-ooh offered connor a job at his family’s bussiness - a nearby coffeeshop)
Here’s an interesting fact that many may not know about Native Americans! Because of the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 it would be impossible to remove Connor from the rez unless he himself ran away or adopt him because of this blood quantum. Which means that he wouldn’t have gone to an orphanage but fall into the custody of his sovereign tribe, more than that the tribe would have placed him with a relative and Mohawks much like other tribe considered anyone who was in their clan (Connor being apart of the Wolf clan) as extended family. So basically Connor would end up with Kanen’s family.
